When you use AetherLens, we collect certain information to provide and improve our services:
- Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture URL via Firebase Authentication.
- Profile Data: We store the "First Name" and "Last Name" you provide during profile setup to help identify you in draft pods.
- App Data: We store data related to your Magic: The Gathering decks, drafts, and league participation in Google Firestore.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- To provide and manage your account.
- To identify you to other participants in draft pods and leagues.
- To sync your decklists and draft history across devices.
- To improve the App's features and user experience.
3. Third-Party Services
AetherLens utilizes the following third-party services:
- Google Firebase: Used for authentication and database services. Your data is handled in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy.
- Scryfall API: Used to fetch card data and images. We do not share your personal information with Scryfall.
- AI Vision Engine: AetherLens uses Google Cloud's Vertex AI platform for its AI Vision scanner. Deck images are processed to extract card names and data in real-time. These images are not stored permanently by AetherLens unless you explicitly choose to "Save Deck." For more information, see Google Cloud's data privacy commitments.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your information as long as your account is active. You may request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.
5. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures provided by Google Firebase to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.
